North Little Rock police arrest man for March bank robbery

A 45-year-old man is behind bars after he admitted to North Little Rock detectives his involvement in robbing the Bank of the Ozarks off Camp Robinson Road in March.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department arrested the 45-year-old man responsible for robbing a bank off Camp Robinson Road on March 29.

According to authorities, officers arrested Daniel McQueen after a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Willow Street on Thursday.

McQueen was driving the suspected vehicle used in the robbery, and officers arrested him on unrelated charges out of North Little Rock and Conway County.

North Little Rock police said McQueen "admitted to detectives his involvement in the bank robbery" during an interview.

McQueen, armed with a handgun, robbed the bank of an "undisclosed amount of money." He was charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property.

McQueen was taken to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond pending his initial court appearance in North Little Rock District Court.
