Homicide investigation underway in North Little Rock

The North Little Rock Police Department is investigating a homicide after finding a woman dead with "visible trauma" inside a vehicle Friday night.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: Police have now identified the victim as 26-year-old Ursula Graham of Jacksonville. Graham was a detention staff member for the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.

A homicide investigation is underway in North Little Rock after a woman was found dead inside a vehicle at the Hemlock Courts apartments around 10:39 p.m. on Friday.

The North Little Rock Police Department said officers responded to the 400 block of North Palm Street and found the woman dead with "visible trauma."

Authorities are not releasing the victim's name until the next of kin is notified or the nature of the trauma due to it being a "detail of the investigation."
