Police name, arrest suspect in killing of airman during attempted robbery

Drequan Robinson, 18, has been named as a suspect in the killing of Shawn Mckeough during an attempted robbery of a North Little Rock Valero

Police have named Drequan Robinson, 18, as a suspect in the killing of Shawn Mckeough, an airman assigned to Little Rock Air Force Base. 

Mckeough reportedly tried to thwart an armed robbery of a Valero gas station late on March 15.

Video from police showed two suspects with guns drawn on surveillance footage from the West Broadway Avenue gas station.

"I just want everyone to know how brave and strong he was, he would have done this a million times over for anyone. There was no one like him and this world isn't the same without him here," his girlfriend Sarah Terrano said.

According to the North Little Rock Police Dept., Robinson was found at a Motel 6 in Little Rock and was arrested in connection to this case.
