NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department arrested a 45-year-old woman for fatally shooting her ex-boyfriend around 9:50 a.m. on Monday.
According to authorities, officers arrived at a residence in the 300 block of East Military Drive after receiving calls about a domestic disturbance.
Once officers arrived, Dawn Faisst said she had "shot her ex-boyfriend during a disturbance at the end of Taylor Street" in the area of Prothro Junction.
North Little Rock police searched the area and found the body of 49-year-old Jamie McCall.
Faisst was arrested and charged with capital murder. She is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond.
