Officials searching for two escaped detainees from Pine Bluff jail

A search is underway after two detainees wanted for capital murder and a homicide connection reportedly escaped from the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Two detainees have reportedly escaped from the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center in Pine Bluff.

The escapees have been identified as 22-year-old Noah Roush and 23-year-old Jatonia Bryant.

Roush is described as a white male with a scar on the right side of his head, a height of 6'2", and a weight of 180 pounds. He was being detained on probable cause for residential burglary and theft of property. He is also a suspect in a homicide.

Bryant is described as a black male, 5'11" tall, and about 145 pounds. He was being detained on probable cause for capital murder.

Officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) believe the individuals may have escaped within the last 48 hours.

Both individuals are considered to be dangerous and should not be approached if seen. The JCSO is working with the Pine Bluff Police Department Vice and Narcotics, Arkansas State Police, And Arkansas Department of Correction to locate them.

Authorities announced that they're offering a $2,500 reward for information related to the two escapees.
