SHERWOOD, Ark. — Sherwood police found a person dead in a vehicle at the intersection of East Woodruff and Walker Creek Drive around 7:43 p.m. Thursday.
The discovery came after authorities dispatched to a reported vehicle accident while fielding reports from 911 callers about possible gunshots near the scene.
After arrival, officers said they found the vehicle with the dead individual inside, secured the scene and started processing it for evidence.
Police said the victim's identity is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
