Police arrest multiple suspects in Little Rock homicide

The Little Rock Police Department arrested four male suspects in connection to a homicide that happened on Oct. 14.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: Little Rock police arrested the four suspects on Thursday.

Taquan Porter Baker, Markeise Murphy, Bryant Thompson Jr. and Charles Gantt III have all been charged with capital murder and first-degree battery.

The Little Rock Police Department is now searching for 4 suspects in connection to a homicide that happened on October 14.

According to reports, officers were responding to a shots fired call on Washington Street just after 5:00 p.m. when they were 'intercepted' by a vehicle that was in front of the 12th Street Station. 

Officers walked up to the vehicle and they found two juvenile victims inside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

One of the victims died while at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital for treatment. The deceased victim was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Reports now state that police are searching for 22-year-old Taquan Porter-Baker, 19-year-old Markeise Murphy, 23-year-old Bryant Thompson Jr, and 16-year-old Charles Ganntt III in connection to this homicide.
