Search underway for armed and dangerous Little Rock man, U.S. Marshals say

The U.S. Marshals are searching for an armed and dangerous Little Rock man with a significant criminal history.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The U.S. Marshals are searching for a wanted man with a significant criminal history.

According to reports, Ray Thomas Jr. of Little Rock is wanted on "federal pretrial release violations."

Thomas is described as being 5'7" in height and weighing about 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He also has other aliases including Ray Thomas, Tavares Thomas, and Raymond Thomas.

U.S. Marshals say he was initially indicted on possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine by the DEA. He was then given bond and took off soon after that.

Thomas has a history of weapons violations including charges related to firearms, drugs, and even "violent altercations" with police. 

Marshals said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
