WASHINGTON — Kohl's has revealed its plans for Black Friday and Thanksgiving Day.
The retailer on Friday kicked off the start of its annual Black Friday Early Access shopping event and unveiled details for the week of Black Friday including a first look at its Black Friday 2023 ad.
The Kohl's Black Friday Early Access Event will run from Nov. 3 to Thursday, Nov. 9. The retailer will also be hosting two "Super Saturday" events on Nov. 11 and Nov. 18.
Then leading up to Black Friday, a week of deals will begin Sunday, Nov. 19 at 12:01 a.m. CT online and 8 a.m. local time in stores through Friday, Nov. 24.
Kohl’s said it'll also be offering "limited-time Black Friday Super Deals" starting online on Thanksgiving Day, as well as in store on Black Friday. Some of those highlighted deals include 60% off Christmas trees and inflatables, an Amazon Kindle for $70 and a Sky Rider GPS Drone for $60.
Kohl's will open its doors on Black Friday starting at 5 a.m. local time, though store hours may vary by location.
Is Kohl's open on Thanksgiving?
Kohl's has previously been open on Thanksgiving Day, but the retailer confirmed Friday that for 2023 its physical stores will be closed for the fourth year in a row.
While some businesses used to have at least limited hours on Thanksgiving, many began closing their doors during the holiday in 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic began. Since then many major chains including Kohl's, Walmart, Target and Best Buy have pivoted to being closed on Thanksgiving.
