Arkansas airman surprises brother, sister at school with emotional reunion

Airman Jared Pena returned home and decided to surprise his little sister and brother by showing up to their classrooms at the Springdale School District.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — For the first time in two years, Air Force firefighter Jared Pena made his way home and decided to surprise his little brother and sister while they were at school and the reactions were as heartwarming as you'd expect.

The Springdale School District shared the emotional return on its Facebook page Sunday morning.

In the video, Pena first sneaks into his sister's classroom and sits behind her. When she finally notices she doesn't hesitate to hug her older brother and she is overcome with emotions.

Then Pena and his sister travel together to her brother's school.

His little brother walks in and immediately notices Pena and the two hug and then talk about paper airplanes.

Pena then shows where Italy is on the map to other students in his brother's class.

He has been stationed there for nearly two years, working as a firefighter.

Thank you for sharing this moment with us and thank you for your service!
