Photos: Solar eclipse in Arkansas

Many people chose Arkansas as their solar eclipse viewing destination. Here are photos of folks enjoying the historic event in the Natural State.

ARKANSAS, USA — Visitors and locals are using Arkansas as their solar eclipse destination to view totality.

Although only parts of Arkansas are in 100% totality, the rest of the state is in at least 90% totality.

Arkansas officials anticipated a tourism boom for the event because we won't experience another solar eclipse in the Natural State until 2044.

Many folks shared their photos with 5NEWS for the historic event!
