Arkansas season opener against UAPB moved to new date | What to know

The Hogs will be kicking off their 2024 season from War Memorial earlier than expected after their in-state matchup against UAPB was rescheduled.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas Razorback football team is slated to kick off their 2024 season a bit sooner than usual!

The Hogs had their season opener against UAPB moved to Thursday, August 29 at 6:30 p.m. — the game will be nationally televised on ESPNU for the in-state matchup against the Golden Lions.

This is now the second consecutive year that the Hogs will kickoff their season from Little Rock. This matchup against the Golden Lions is also history in the making, as the upcoming duel marks just the second time in history that the two teams will step on the football field together. In their previous meeting in 2021, the Hogs won 45-3 at War Memorial.
