Arkansas women's basketball falls to Tennessee on the road

Tennessee leads the overall series 35-5.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Arkansas women's basketball (17-9, 5-6 SEC) fell to Tennessee (15-8, 8-3) on the road, 81-55, Monday night. 

Taliah Scott led the Hogs with 23 points and went 10-of-27 from the field. Makayla Daniels finished with eight points and seven rebounds. 

Tennessee out rebounded Arkansas 57-29. Rickea Jackson led the Lady Vols with 21 points and nine rebounds. 

Tennessee has a leg up on the Razorbacks in the overall series with a lead of 35-5. However, the two teams were fresh off losses for Monday's game after Arkansas fell to the Gators, 85-81, and the Volunteers lost to Alabama, 72-56, on Thursday.

Arkansas has a few days off then will pick things back up at Bud Walton Arena hosting Missouri Sunday at 3 p.m.
