According to the Pulaski County Special School District, they will be closing early today, May 8 due to potential flooding.
Elementary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. and secondary schools will dismiss at 2 p.m. The buses will run for all schools.
School closing is due to the potential of severe weather beginning Wednesday afternoon. The THV11 Weather Team will be busy through Thursday as three rounds of storms look likely to move across the state.
Very heavy rain is possible within a short period of time and could lead to significant flash flooding of small creeks, low lying areas and poor drainage areas.
