At least four tornadoes confirmed in Arkansas after storms

At least four EF1 tornadoes were confirmed in Arkansas Monday night as storms moved through the state.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to the National Weather Service, at least four EF1 tornadoes were confirmed Monday night in Arkansas.

The tornadoes appeared in the state as severe weather moved through, causing damage along their paths.

The first tornado was around 1.5 east of Scranton and ended about 4.4 miles east-northeast of Scranton in Logan County.

The second tornado was 5.7 miles south-southeast of Saltillo and ended 3.3 miles north-northeast of Gibson. This is the tornado that was spotted near Mayflower in Faulkner County and traveled into the Pulaski County.

Each tornado traveled three to four miles.

Two tornadoes were also confirmed in northwest Arkansas. One just south of Bloomer in Sebastian County and another east of Charleston in Franklin County.

As the storms went through Arkansas, we received reports of hail ranging in size from quarter-sized to near softball-sized.

The Little Rock Air Force Base confirmed a tornado in its observation area. It has been described as a "large" and "destructive" tornado.

A viewer sent us a video of what appears to be the tornado that was confirmed in the Mayflower area.

While there was plenty of damage due to the hails and strong winds, there have been no reported injuries at this time.
