Former Cross County deputy prosecutor arrested on allegations of child rape

According to an arrest affidavit, former deputy prosecuting attorney Timothy Gement Tucker was arrested on allegations of child rape.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to an arrest affidavit, former Cross County deputy prosecuting attorney Timothy Gement Tucker was arrested on allegations of child rape.

Court documents for Tucker’s arrest said Little Rock police were contacted by the Arkansas State Police’s Crimes Against Children Division in Dec. 2018 about a girl who said she had been raped multiple times by Tucker.

The affidavit said the child claimed the acts occurred multiple times over the course of three years. When asked why she had never mentioned the acts to anyone before, the child said Tucker told her she had to keep it a secret.

According to the affidavit, the child told investigators Tucker would give her a $100 bill after raping her and was estimated in receiving around $10,000 from him over the three-year period. She also told investigators Tucker bought her phones, electronics and jewelry to keep her quiet.

She said the acts would occur at either his previous residence in Little Rock and at his current residence Maumelle.

Tucker was arrested Tuesday, June 25 at his home on a charge of felony rape. His bond was set at $12 million.
