Today marks 24 years of waiting for the family of Morgan Nick.
Police say she was at a little league game in Alma with her mom when the 6-year-old left her sight to catch lightning bugs with her friends.
After her disappearance, a sketch was released of a man but police never arrested a suspect.
Morgan Nick's alleged abduction is known across the state and across the nation. In Arkansas Amber Alerts for missing children are called "Morgan Nick Amber Alerts" in Morgan’s honor.
Morgan was last seen standing near her mother’s car where she had stopped to empty sand from her shoes.
The search for Morgan continues, and her family is hopeful they will someday find her.
