Ricky Bobby estate sale: How you can own a piece of NASCAR movie history

The iconic Lake Norman mansion was recently purchased by NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick. Now you could own a piece of what was inside the home.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Less than a month after the mansion made famous by fictional NASCAR driver Ricky Bobby was sold to racing legend Kevin Harvick, an estate sale is looking to sell items associated with the home.

Mooresville-based Wyatt and Son Auctions is managing an auction of the Cornelius estate, which includes Civil War-era artifacts, historic and modern firearms, a vintage pinball machine, historic documents from President Abraham Lincoln and more. The company says there will be two auctions from the estate. Live bidding on the first estate begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10. However, you can go ahead and get your bids in now if there's an item to your liking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, start your bidding engines because it's time to gear up for the most thrilling auction of the year!" Wyatt and Sons' listing states.

The 253-lot auction has something for everyone. Some of the featured items include a one-of-a-kind autographed oil painting of Tiger Woods that has an estimated worth between $40,000 and $50,000. The current bid has that painting going for much less than the estimated value.

There's also a baseball autographed by Honus Wagner, a Wurlitzer "Bubbler" jukebox that was seen in "Talladega Nights," as well as several letters authored by Lincoln, Confederate president Jefferson Davis and even some vintage church pews. And for those of you interested in medieval warfare, you can even bid on a contemporary suit of armor. That's right, you can live your "Sir Lancelot" dreams for a few hundred bucks.
