Little Rock officer charged with unauthorized use of Arkansas Criminal Information Center

A Little Rock police officer has surrendered to police after being charged with unauthorized use of the Arkansas Criminal Information Center.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A Little Rock police officer has now surrendered to the authorities after being charged with unauthorized use of the Arkansas Criminal Information Center (ACIC).

According to reports, Elizabeth Roberson was relieved of her duty at the beginning of the year, on January 5, 2024, awaiting the outcome of the investigation into her unauthorized use of the ACIC.

The ACIC is an Arkansas government agency that gives criminal justice agencies access to an online information system. It also serves as a central repository of criminal history records, including statistics on crime. It also coordinates crime prevention activities. 

On March 13, 2024, she surrendered and was charged with five counts of unauthorized use of the Arkansas Criminal Information Center. 

She has been with the department since April 2018.

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing and we will update with more information when it becomes available.
