LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that left 44-year-old Tasha Johnson dead on Friday.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the 1000 block of College Street and was potentially a drive-by shooting at just after 6:30 p.m.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene have been contacted and will begin their investigation. "Several spent gun shell casings have been located in the area and being collected as evidence," police said in a statement.
Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area as the investigation ensues.
Another victim was grazed by a bullet and denied medical treatment.
