Three teens arrested for shooting in Jacksonville, police say

The three teenagers were arrested by Jacksonville police after a victim was found with a gunshot wound in the upper chest.

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — Three people have been arrested after a shooting happened in Jacksonville on the morning of Dec. 10, according to the Jacksonville Police Department.

Police were called to the area of 300 South Hospital Blvd. around 8:45 a.m. for a shooting. Officers were also sent to the 3200 block of Cloverridge Drive where a victim was found, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper chest.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is reportedly in "critical condition."

During the search of an apartment at 300 South Hospital, police found two stolen handguns and a short barrel rifle. Police say the two handguns were stolen, one from Jacksonville Police Department and one from the Little Rock Police Department.

Police arrested 18-year-old Zamarion Robinson, 17-year-old Kendall Stanley, and 16-year-old Davion Williams in relation to the shooting.

The three have been charged with criminal attempt to commit capital murder, first degree battery, terroristic act, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, minor in possession of a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence.

Stanley and Williams are being charged as adults, according to the Pulaski County Prosecutor's Office.
