This Maumelle favorite is sure to leave you 'Cheer'-ful

Cheers has been a fan-favorite restaurant in Maumelle for 20 years thanks to their consistently delicious flavors, community values, and no shortage of good people.

MAUMELLE, Ark. — Some of the best restaurants are those off the beaten path. It’s here where the food is as good as the people, and that’s the case at Cheers in Maumelle, located just a couple blocks off of Maumelle Boulevard.

This charming locally-owned restaurant has been a mainstay for 20 years now. If you ask restaurant manager Billy Proffitt why customers remain so loyal, he’ll happily tell you the secret. Consistency!

“We offer a consistent product with consistent service,” he explained. “If you want a great meal with great service, this is the place you want to come.”

Many locals dine here so frequently that their names are literally engraved on the barstools.

The menu here is diverse, ranging from Cajun flare to pizza, burgers, and salads.

For over a decade, the top seller has been the chopped salmon salad. This fan favorite is defined by its hardwood smoked salmon, arugula, dried cranberries, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, dried sweet corn, pecans, and couscous and topped off with pesto buttermilk dressing. Scrumptious!

After 5 p.m., Cheers fires up its brick oven and begins cooking some delicious pizzas. We’re not talking about your standard pepperoni, we’re talking about specialty pizzas! In fact, a fan favorite is the chicken and goat cheese with balsamic reduction drizzle.

One of the saddest mistakes you can make is dining at Cheers and not ordering dessert. The salted caramel cheesecake is by far one of the best around. An explosion of flavor awaits you!

While not a traditional sports bar, the atmosphere is a comforting blend of upscale/casual with plenty of TV’s and a full-service bar.

Cheers in Maumelle is located at 1901 Club Manor Drive. They are open Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays. One exception to note, they will be open this Sunday, April 7 in participation in Maumelle’s Eclipse festivities.

Their full menu can be found on their website.
