FORREST CITY, Ark. — On Tuesday, February 20, officials with the St. Francis County Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding a body found on County Road 731 just off Hwy 334.
According to reports, some boys were riding four-wheelers in the area when they discovered the body of an adult female in a gray plastic tote on the side of the road.
The body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the manner and cause of death. The victim was later identified as 42-year-old Troy Alexandra Strope of Forrest City.
At this time, investigators are working on this case as a homicide and have asked for the public's help in learning new information.
