Hot Springs police locate vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident

The Hot Springs Police Department has located the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident on March 3 in the 1200 block of Albert Pike Road.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Update: Hot Springs police said the vehicle has been located. Jason Golden was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence, no proof of insurance and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Golden's bond is set at $6,000.

The Hot Springs Police Department asked the public for help Wednesday locating and identifying a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run incident around 7:27 p.m. on March 3.

According to police, the accident happened in the 1200 block of Albert Pike Road, where a pedestrian was struck and injured by a 2000-2005 black Mitsubishi Eclipse with no license plate.

Hot Springs police said the car will have "damage on the passenger side, windshield, fender and turn signal. Additionally, the car "struck the subject then fled west on Albert Pike."
