POPE COUNTY, Ark. — The Pope County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on a missing Batesville veteran.
50-year-old Shannon Lee Collins was last seen on the morning of March 12, 2021, after he allegedly walked away from his home in Pottsville.
Shannon was reported missing nine months later by his brother who lives out of state.
His family has been cooperating with the authorities as they await any news of sightings or communication from Shannon.
Shannon served as a soldier in the United States Army National Guard and was later honorably discharged from the military at the rank of Sergeant Major SGM after 24 years of service.
Today marked the second Veteran's Day without the family member they love and miss.
