Woman rescued from flash flood waters on Hwy 74 near Marshall

A woman stuck on top of a truck was rescued Thursday from swift flood waters on Highway 74 East near Landis.

A woman was rescued Thursday from swift flash flood waters on Highway 74 East near Landis. The video shows a vehicle surrounded by water as a woman sits on top of the vehicle waiting for help.

The Searcy County Sheriffs Department, local fire departments, and the Arkansas Game and Fish rescue team rescued the women. They were able to rescue the woman and no one was injured.

Please be careful while traveling while major flash flooding impacts several roads in Arkansas due to the heavy rain Wednesday evening.
